Welcome to the official website of Newtown Forest FC, a cross-community football club based in South Belfast, affiliated to both the County Antrim Football Association and the Irish Football Association.

The club currently consists of two senior teams who both play in the Down Area Football League. Home matches are currently played at Hydebank Playing Fields in Newtownbreda and training takes place twice a week at various venues close by, depending on the time of year.

Newtown Forest originally formed as 97th Old Boys Football Club in 1980 and have played in the Old Boys league on and off for 25 years. In 2006, the club successfully applied for membership of the Down Area League. This was a significant development for the club and this gave us the opportunity to recruit more players which enabled us to form a 2nd team for the first time. Membership continues to grow and the club is actively encouraging more players to join up.
